Introduction
The ClaimTemplates API allows the users to get information and manage their claim templates.

| ClaimTemplate |
All claims in the claim system need to be connected to a claim template. The claim template serves two purposes; it contains preset values for claims that are created (see newClaimPresets) and it contains information how the claim system should deposit the payments when a claim is paid. A claim only inherits the preset values when it is being created. Claim can be moved between claim templates which means all future payments on that claim take the payment instructions from the new template. |
| ClaimantAccess | Users can have access to claim templates owned by other companies or individuals and act on their behalf. |
| Prerequisites | For a claimant to use the claim system they need to fulfill certain prerequistes such as if the claimant has a valid KYC and has accepted the terms and conditions for the claim system. |
Getting access
The service requires an agreement with Landsbankinn and approval of both Landsbankinn's General Terms and Conditions and this site's Terms of use. Therefore the application to production environment is not automatically approved.
